Mina holds an M.S. degree in Nutritional Biochemistry from Rutgers University in New Jersey and a B.S. degree in Biology from the State University of New York at Albany. She teaches Anatomy & Physiology at Bellingham Technical College, Bellingham, WA.
Mina previously taught Biology at the college and high school level, including several years of teaching AP Biology and Science Research at Brooklyn Technical High School where she won the New York Times “Teachers Who Make A Difference” award. She tutored science for New York’s most exclusive preparatory agency and is the author of the AP Biology test prep book “McGraw Hill’s 500 Must Know Questions”. Mina also freelanced as a private tutor for students competing for entrance into Ivy League colleges.
